What we’re about

The Beer Baroness Society, founded in North Bay in 2020, is for Northern Ontario women to share their collective passion for craft beer in social settings by creating comfortable, welcoming spaces to extend the appreciation and education of craft beer among women. When we say women, we mean anyone who identifies as a woman, non-binary, gender-fluid or non-conforming, or any person that would like to be included in this definition.

Don’t know your ales from your pilsners? Not sure which glassware to use? No problem! The Beer Baroness Society has educational events and content for the most basic to the most experienced beer lovers to enjoy.

Social

From casual get togethers to larger events, The Beer Baroness society aims to create environments for women to enjoy and explore craft beer. Stay tuned for upcoming events both online and don’t forget to check our events calendar! Our members only Facebook Group is also a place for Baronesses to connect and share their love of craft beer.

We have plans to create some amazing BBS beers by pairing up with Ontario breweries to create delicious collaborations! Our first one launches on October 2, 2021.

We also put out amazing curated boxes filled with craft beers and loads of other goodies! Make sure you’re a member so you get advance notice for both our beer boxes and collaboration releases. They sell out quickly!
